My fiance and I recently used their services to replace a very important part in the circuit board of my switch that I broke when trying to replace my battery. They were very understanding and helpful as well as kind and curtious. They even put in the new battery for me as well once we took it to them. Most places I checked would have charged me half the cost of a new switch or more to fix what happened. Their prices were very reasonable as well as they allowed for a deposit before drop off and final payment before pick up. Turn around time was amazing the estimated turn around time was 5 to 7 business days depending on parts and they finished within 4 business days. The switch works and the battery is going strong. They also returned it how they received it, which some might be bothered by but I loved that they did. When my fiance dropped it off all but one screw was taken out where needed casue it was stuck, they were able to get the stuck screw out and gave it back put together but without the screws so I got to feel like I helped. Since I enjoy tinkering, it made my day. Even if they had put it fully back together, I wouldn't have minded. They are an amazing company, and should i ever need help with something outside my ability, technologically, I will go to them even if I have to wait. I live in MI and am visiting my fiance, but I trust them enough to do the job that I would rather take it to them, than anywhere else. They were upfront and informative about the service and didn't make any guarantees they could fix the problem, but I'm glad they were able to.

Offered to help on fixing it. Had the device for about 3 to 4 months. Eventually I got a call back stating that they weren’t even able to get it open. Kept mentioning about a battery when all it needed to be done was to soldered new wires to the battery inside the device. I provided a battery that did not go to the device it was only to check if the batter inside the device was faulty from the beginning. I did not receive a response on if the mother board was bad or the battery. Just that they shoved a battery that does not match the device for hours. Things come up that’s understandable but 3-4 months of things for a device held up by one screw WOW!! I was thinking of paying to get my xbox fixed but would rather looks elsewhere. The device is held up by one screw. so much for the help.

I have had repairs done at Bit's-N-Bytes and they were professional and timely and repairs and service were excellent!
Even though the business has been moved into his home the level of service has not suffered. I would recommend taking your game console there. I would say they are the best in Sioux Falls area.

I took some big risks when decide to call Bit's-N-Byte in hopes of repairing my Playstation 2 because it couldn't receive power. They had no physical office and transactions had to be done over the phone which my folks considered a red flag. However I was willing and accepting the risks to get my console fixed. It took three weeks for the repair work but they did it. My PS2 is now able to play games again.

I was a bit skeptical at first because of how they operate, now that they don't have a store front and do everything out of there house. I decided to give them a chance since finding somebody locally that will fix a ps5 and not just send it off someplace else was actually pretty difficult. We were not let down. Their communication was on point, and there customer service was excellent. The only negative is that the HDMI cord they gave us was defective, but that is NO fault of theirs and they offered to replace it. The repairs on the console are working perfectly. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with bits-n-bytes, they will be my first stop if I have any repair needs in the future.

Owner was prompt, quick service, very professional and humble. And was detailed about what the it would need fixed before evening bringing it. And descibed issue upon pick up. Brought him a Playstation 4 that sounded like a jet plane taking off. When I got it back after only 1 day, it was quiet as a lamb. Thank you sincerely and Highly recommend to anyone.

Dropped off my switch that wouldn't charge or turn on. Most repair places said they couldn't fix it. Only issue I had was when I dropped off the switch I was told a price I was later called and told that the price would have to increase by $15 or so it wasn't a huge inconvenience and I'm sure once they opened it up they probably seen it needed something or more work. In the end I spent $175 and my switch works perfectly now. I also purchased an xbox for my son I was told it was refurbished and when I got it home it worked perfectly. I definitely plan on going back for future gaming repairs.
