The absolute worst and the hiring team has not made any changes. From civilian to military personnel they all have horrible customer service at pharmacy. Wait is always extremely long and the phone system. I was on the phone in que 7 which said 23 mins, and I was literally on the phone for 45 mins only to get to number one and it tells me unfortunately due to system failure I cannot process your call. I have a new baby who meds I have not been able to get for going on two weeks because when I did go into the pharmacy the young lady said there was nothing but the doctor reassured it was put in.. ommgggg this is so frustrating you waste time going in person and calling, this is times I wish I didn’t have to go to a military facility for meds. Can we source out meds since you guys clearly cannot assist. UNDERSTAND ALTHOUGH I SELECTED ONE STAR THIS REVIEW DIES NOT GET WVEN ONE STAR. Throw the entire pharmacy away.

I'm astounded at how this pharmacy treats it's retired Veterans. It should not take more than 30 minutes, when there is only 4 people in line who also have not been served. I will be contacting the base commander and/or my congressmen promptly.

I was pretty worried about getting my prescription sent to this location based on reading other reviews but after calling to confirm they had the medications I needed in stock it was such a smooth process! Same day I called and confirmed they had the meds I needed I was able to have my doc move my order to here and the next morning I was able to get my meds! I see a bunch of reviews complaining about long waits but I can understand that due to it being such a high volume of people being serviced here. I saw on the screen it was an estimated 50 min wait time and that was the exact time it took, and there were a lot of people being processed around the same time as me so I could understand why it took that long especially since it was the first time I was picking up my meds from there. Everyone I talked to were professional and helpful and ran into no issues!

At the 32nd street pharmacy today and they have 2 windows open and both have been closed for over 10 mins with several people outside waiting. This is the worst pharmacy in the San Diego pharmacy system. Will go else where in the future

Took an hour and 20 minutes to get my prescription. They weren’t even busy (not even 1/4 of the seats were taken) the “estimated time” on the screen said 30 minutes. The lady that always works at window #1 is VERY rude to everyone. Like everyone else says, 12 windows with 2-3 of them open. Sad but true that Walmart Pharmacy is way faster and more professional.

Be prepared to have your time (and gas if you live far away from the hospital like me) wasted here. They take extremely long, and they always make errors which make you unable to pick up your medication the day you come. I understand the slow pace when they are understaffed, but they should not be this inefficient and incompetent after being in service for many years. I have been picking up medication here for about ten years and barely anything has changed.

I am so frustrated with the whole pharmacy system. My wife takes a lot of meds for her heart and other ailments which makes me a frequent customer. I cannot afford to go elsewhere and after 20 years of service this is an entitled benefit and i shouldn't have to. I have waited 4 and 5 hours to pick up new prescriptions. I have also had to make sometimes 3 trips back and forth because the prescriptions have not been ready or were not processed. I live a good distance away and gas and time is wasted each order. I tried to use the bar code thing and after waiting 6 hours for a text that never arrived I then spent another hour on the phone to be told that the bar code thing has not been working and that I have to wait another day to process my order. Also the instructions for the bar code (that's not working) and the Q anywhere have skimpy instructions hard for elderly to understand. Not exactly clear. The wait times on the phone are ridiculous. I have been number thirty something in queue waiting for 2 hours and got to second caller only to be told by a recording that my phone call cannot be processed at this time. Three times this year that happened and each time it was around lunch time. What does that tell you? Unprofessional in all regards. Civilian pharmacies do not have these problems so why does the worlds greatest Navy? Is it just plain incompetence I would ask? This has been a problem for awhile. I would think its time to consider getting rid of whoever is in charge and find a qualified executive that knows how to run a business. By the way, who can you complain to? There is no information on any site I can find that has a pace to go to vent your frustrations. This site wont get get the attention of a superior officer who probably thinks all is well because there are no complaints because there is nowhere to complain. One star is overrated.

Horrible, just god awful!!! Honestly, I would rather take a hot poker to the eye than have to suffer through the never ending wait. I’m pretty sure my husbands 6 year contract will be over before I get my prescription filled. I hope he is willing to re-enlist so the meds are still covered when I get to the window. His 9 month deployment was faster than this. I am currently only 6 weeks pregnant. I hope my meds are filled before it’s time for me to give birth.
