I love this place. My favorite thing is the Taboon Flat bread. Its crispy and soft when heated in a skillet. I also make pizza on it. A little olive oil, favorite toppings, and 10-12 minutes in a 450 oven, Delish!!! Great place to stop for an assortment of vegtable. There is not a huge varity but everything is much fresher then the grocery store.

Friendly and welcoming. They have fresh fruit and veggies. Lately I have been purchasing fruit. Great prices! And I never leave the store without buying their fresh feta cheese! I will never purchase feta cheese from a grocery store again.

I have been coming here few times over the year I live 40 minutes away . This is second time they over changed me... Today I noticed and told them ..they over charged me for rice $2 ..
Last time I noticed they over charged me for cheese $6 I was already home .
Also one other time I bought dried figs and they were bad and gross way pass expiration ..I couldn't come back since I live far
To the owner cheating others won't make you rich .I don't want to support this unethical business anymore

I am hurt. I don't understand why someone stood next to me and my son until we paid and left? Did they think I would steal because I'm a different color? I wanted to return everything but out of respect for my husband and my son I didn't.
We came in approximately around 11am on 6/17/23, we are a thicker family of three, white male husband white young son, I am olive skinned mix Filipino.

If we were rude in any way, I could understand however I rarely am- and often times I'm overly respectful and a huge supporter of local businesses since I grew up with my father owning one. This is why I don't understand what I did.

I think I've rated this a four before and that was due to better staffing. They all speak English at this location. When they have enough staff they're always very helpful and they can actually introduce you to some dishes that you would not consider by just adding a spice or something that has been imported from the Mediterranean area. It's not the prettiest of places but I would definitely go there to save my trip into downtown Sacramento. I consider Fulton and El Camino downtown.
