I was hoping to have an amazing experience with this doctor after learning she specializes in skin of color. However, I did not. I went to her a few times and she was very hostile towards me each time for no reason. Nothing she recommended worked for me, everytime I seen her she recommended I purchase medication that was $50+ from a private pharmacy. None of the medication worked for me. I decided to see other doctors apart of dermatology partners and was notified that Dr.David blocked me from ever scheduling an appointment with her again because of that.

Things really have changed since I started seeing her (which has been quite a few years). Since she opened her office in Bensalem, I’ve noticed that my wait could be up to 45 minutes in the waiting room, she’s consistently overbooked, and twice she has mistakenly seen patients scheduled after me, ahead of me (by accident). I just don’t feel like my time is respected. I had to find a dermatologist that’s not constantly on vacation and has hours conducive to the average working individual.

I am so happy to have found Dr David and her practice. Everyone in the office from the front desk, the medical assistants, PA and Dr David are professional and thorough. I’ve been there several times and my longest wait time was 11 minutes. Not really wait time since it was from the minute I walked in , checked in and barely sat down to wait. I recently had a basal cell removed. I was very nervous. Emma, medical assistant who was getting me ready before Dr David came in was so wonderful. She commiserated with me and made me feel very confident in Dr David. Dr David then took her time to go through every little part of what she’d be doing and why. From the minute Dr David started until Emma was bandaging my back they worked really well together as a team. I did not feel any pain. Aftercare was explained in detail. I have several more spots that also need to be removed. I trust Dr David and Emma as well, to take good care of me without an ounce of fear from here on out.

I’m writing this review after what would have been my 3rd visit. I sought out Dr. David because she specializes in African American skin, which is hard to find in my area. My first few appointments were ok..her demeanor isn’t rude, but she was very “to the point” and wasn’t thrilled by any questions I asked that were outside of the topic of my appt. This visit, I scheduled my appointment months in advance, and drove 3 hours from another state to get there. About 15 minutes before my appointment I called to let the office know id be running late and they told me they had a 15 minute grace period. I made it at exactly 15 minutes after my appointment and was abruptly turned away. I explained I traveled several hours, took time off of work, and was not outside of the grace period, and there was no concession because the “Dr was too far behind”. There was a waiting room FULL of patients so I would not have been seen on time anyway, but was still turned away, with no understanding. The girl at the front was rude, and clearly lacked any customer service skills. I have never been late to a previous appt with her, so I am not a patient that is disrespectful of others’ time. Overall I am disappointed in the service and will never return to this office as I can’t risk traveling all that way again, only to be turned away, again.

I’ve been seeing Dr. David for my acne for over a year now. I never had severe acne, but my skin became a lot worse with the increased use of face masks due to COVID as well as stress. My skin looks the best it’s looked in years. She is very professional, super friendly, and the products she recommends are great and not too expensive. I referred my friend to her after he saw how great my skin looks and he sees her now as well and he is also happy with his results.

Last two times we have been there she has been very unprofessional and rude. I loved her in the beginning and so did kids. I won’t be back. We are going to go to a different dermatologist with pa dermatology partners.I also never ever said I wouldn’t wear a face mask, I put it on immediately. I was lectured on why it is important to wear in front of my daughter who had just got over the flu a few weeks before. I am very aware of the importance but I didn’t have one and wasn’t offered one at all or told I should wear one until seeing the doctor. Good luck getting new patients with your political and unprofessional attitude.

I had a very bad skin reaction from hair dye. My amazing Doctor Baker referred me to Dr Jennifer David. She immediately saw me which is rare for dermatologist to see u upon immediate request. I seriously thought I was going to die from this reaction. My face was twice the size and my entire face and head had sores and blisters. Dr Jennifer put me on a treatment plan and followed up with me. She couldn't recognize me when i returned a week after the aggressive treatment plan, looking completely different and back to my normal features. Dr Jennifer David is patient, detailed and her team is absolutely amazing. Thank you for saving my life Dr Jennifer?

There are certain disciplines of medicine where your needs reflect racial/ethnic/and cultural aspects and practices. Dermatology is one of those areas. Dr. David is competent, friendly, and a true educator. She spent an abundance of time getting to know me, my history, and my current problem. I'm sure she is just as competent in addressing the needs of all races and ethnicities, it's just extra special that she inherently understands our needs. So when I rolled up in the office with my crochets....she got it...LOL
