All they care about are the copays here! Dr. Camillo has absolutely no bedside manners whatsoever! My 3 month old baby had an emergency over the weekend. Since Sebring has no pediatric hospital I had to go down to Miami to get my baby checked into the emergency room because she had a possible seizure. I left multiple messages for the doctor to call me back with the nurse on call and nobody called me back for an entire week and a half!!!!! Thankfully after 2days in the hospital in observation and running numerous tests, the results were negative Thank God! I called the doctors office and spoke with the front desk who advised me that in order for me to speak with the doctor, I would have to come in. I asked if they had received any of my messages and they advised that they did receive them but in order for me to speak with the doctor I had to go in person. A simple phone call from Dr.Camillo asking how she was doing prior to me coming in for a follow up appointment would have been the professional thing to do. But she refused to call me and required me to come in person. Again, absolutely no bedside manners whatsoever!!!!! We will NEVER go back there again! On top of that, the front desk is VERY unprofessional, whether you’re in person or over the phone one of the front desk girls constantly calls you “Babe” …. What is that?! Either call me by my last name, first name or “Mam”. But it’s extremely unprofessional to be calling patients mothers “Babe”!

Update: I’m not really sure when things started to change but they have over the last year or so. More often than not my children’s prescriptions don’t get called in after appointment, especially when we see the doctor. I feel like she’s very overwhelmed lately. We really miss seeing Ms. Kady. Seem’s like whenever we see a NP or PA, we don’t have the issue of things not being called in. It’s really frustrating seeing as we go to the pharmacy after the appointment and it’s not like I can afford to wait, we can’t fill them early, so he ends up running out because we have to wait at the mercy of the office to call them in whether it be hours or days after appt. Today, my son’s meds were called in but my daughter who is sick, were not. And of course the office was already closed so I couldn’t call. How a provider can miss calling in a sick child’s meds is just, idk…this is why I feel like she is overwhelmed. Like I said, something has changed and I can’t say it’s for the better, but I do hope they can work out whatever kinks they have going on in the office.

Old: Sometimes the wait can be long but that’s because they are gracious and fit so many kids in last minute, mine included at times. Both of my kids adore all of the providers, especially Ms. Denise and Ms. Kady! Dr. Camilo is also very knowledgeable about ADHD and advocates very appropriately for her ADHD patients.

I don’t know why we keep on coming back here. The nurses specially the one who’s wearing skechers (I didn’t get her name) was so rude. I can’t take her attitude anymore. We will move to another Clinic. Btw, that nurse that I’m talking about is only nice when she’s outside of the room where her co-workers can hear her. She won’t even say hi every time she goes inside your room. She won’t even talk to you if you ask something from her. And when everything is done she will let you wait inside the room for too long. She won’t talk to you politely - as if I can’t understand English. She will only talk to you nicely once she’s out of your check-up room. Why would I trust my kids with this kind of nurse. Nurses should be nice and kind to patients. I’m also a Nurse so I know what ethic is.

Really bad experience: Waiting over 1 hour in the room for the nurse to come and the nurse with yellow hair ordered me " The nurse will be in minutes, OKay" very impolitely. Feel disappointed about the nurse's attitude and hope she can be more patient! And the whole visite time costs my around 2 hours... Unbelievble!
