They messed up our taxes and now we have a huge late fee.

This place use to be great then Peggy left and it's the worst. Do Not Go Here. Take your Business somewhere else, unless you want a headache.

Sad to say that I have NOT had a good experience w Taxes and Books. I filed a return w them in early March and have not received it. Called and spoke to the receptionist who was quite rude and didn't want to be bothered. So I have continued waiting, but I'm concerned that there is something wrong with the return. Ive tried reaching out to Monica (the lady who did the return) many times by txt email and phone call, but no response. She was very nice but seemed to be WAYYYY overbooked and kinda all over the place.

A couple months ago she told me she was going to call a financial institution for me to help pay some taxes, she wass to get back to me but I haven't been able to get ahold of her since.
So today I called the main # and got the same mean receptionist again. She was SO ANNOYED to be bothered with my phone call and put me on speaker phone and was yelling at me from across the room. When I asked her if she had me on speaker, she said yeah bc she was busy doing something else and was the only person there. I asked for a supervisor at that point and she yelled at me and told me to call back next week.

It's a very uncomfortable position to be that these people have all my financial and personal information and are SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I will be contacting another company to see if they can take over, but without any cooperation from the current accountant, I feel stuck. I'd love to hear back from a supervisor or someone who can help me
